The Sew Special group meets the second and the fourth Thursday of the month from 9:00am-12:00pm at Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Southern Pines. The group sews quilts for Lutheran World Relief and enjoy fellowship and conversation. Lutheran World Relief is a nonprofit organization that partners with communities to end poverty, suffering and injustice. Making Lutheran World Relief Mission Quilts is a tangible way to express love to our neighbors in need. Quilts can be used as warm bedding, simple tents or floor coverings.
