FREEWeymouth Center for the Arts & Humanities presents Pepito & the Trash Cans: A Storytelling Musical Event this Saturday, October 5th | 10:00am-11:30am! Join storyteller Luke Vandergriff for a family friendly storytelling event on the lawn of the Boyd House.
A bilingual musical story about a little boy in Bolivia who longs to play music, but scarcity and misfortune stand in his way. Finally, he overcomes by making his own instruments out of bottles, cans, and other repurposed materials. Throughout the story performer extraordinaire, Luke Vandergriff, plays an array of homemade instruments as he inspires creativity and resilience while pursuing your dreams.
Bring your lawn chairs or a picnic blanket for your own comfort.
Arrive early at 9:00am for a Family Gardening Day! In collaboration with Southern Pines Rotary and the Sandhills Rotary Clubs. Bring your own garden gloves!
