“Point in Time Count” Volunteers Needed
January 29 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
The annual “Point in Time” count, held nationwide, provides a snapshot of homelessness, helping nonprofits and government agencies secure funding. On Wednesday, January 29th, from 5pm-7pm, volunteers in Moore County will conduct anonymous surveys with people without shelter and provide resources. This data helps improve local services and raise awareness of homelessness. Volunteers will meet at the Robbins Town Hall and Sizzlin’ Steak or Eggs in Southern Pines. Resources will be provided.
The event is supported by the Regional Committee on Ending Homelessness (Region 7) and the NC Balance of State Continuum of Care.
