The English Speaking Union presents the 2025 National Shakespeare Competition! Schools in our region compete in the Sandhills Branch Competition. The winner of the branch competition will then travel to compete in the National Competition in NYC in April. Please join to witness the outstanding talent in our local high schools. The Shakespeare Competition, which is part of the National ESU Shakespeare Competition, involves over 140 students representing all of the high schools in Moore County. Nationally, over 20,000 students participate every year. The Sandhills winner competes in New York City with the winners of 55 other ESU Branches for the National Title.
