The Sandhills Motoring Expo is a favorite annual event of Moore County that takes place on Memorial Day weekend. The fun begins Friday, May 23rd and runs through Sunday, May 25th. Enjoy a variety of events lined up throughout the weekend. Each day presents distinct events for our participants, ensuring a rich experience filled with automotive activities.

“Concours In The Village” Sunday, May 25th, 8:30am-4:00pm 

Concours In The Village is the premier car show event with automobiles displayed in the streets of the historic Village of Pinehurst. The 2025 Concours in the Village will feature Italian Sports Cars as the featured genre! Over 120 unique and handpicked automobiles line the streets. There are 15 classes of vehicles, along with special display cars, throughout the Village. Each class is judged for a Best in Class award and a runner up Sandhills Award. The show is free and open to the general public.

Opening Ceremonies begin at 8:30am with the main show starting at 9:00am

Any proceeds after expenses and operating costs from the events go to benefit the Sandhills Motoring Festival Endowment at Sandhills Community College which provides a scholarship fund for students in the Automotive Technologies Program.
