28th Annual 4-H Cornbread Cook-Off (Grades 4-6)

Be a part of the 28th Annual 4-H Cornbread Cook-Off! The 4-H Cornbread Cook-off is a fun chance for 4th-6th graders to show off their best cornbread recipe! Get creative with your own cornbread recipe and put it to the test. Entry forms and recipes must be sent to Wesley Brewer at wbrewer9@utk.edu by Friday, February 28th.

Contest Rules:
• No pre-made cornbread mixes are allowed.
• All recipes must be cooked in Lodge Cast Iron.
• Participants will have one hour total to complete their recipe.
• All preparation from start to finish must be done by the youth.

If you are selected as one of the Top 10 Finalists (announced in early March), youth will have the opportunity to compete LIVE at the National Cornbread Festival on Sunday, April 27th in South Pittsburg, TN! Prize will be awarded for the top three corn breads and honorable mentions.
