Join the Town of Carthage for the 36th Annual Buggy Festival! The festival takes place in Downtown Carthage on Mother’s Day weekend on Saturday, May 10th | 9am-4pm!
“Started in 1989, the Carthage Buggy Festival is a celebration of the rich history of Carthage, North Carolina. The Buggy Festival is held each year to commemorate the famous Tyson and Jones Buggy Factory that, from the mid-1800’s to the 1920’s, produced the carriages that were essential to life in rural North Carolina.”
Enjoy a family-friendly time with fun to be had by all ages. This free event boasts live music, a free Kid’s Zone, 170+ vendors, games, food trucks, a classic car show, animal adoptions, antiques appraisals and so much more! Don’t miss out on all the fun and be sure to find a gift for Mom too! Friendly, well-behaved dogs are welcome to attend, but they must remain on a leash.
