4th Friday & The Fiesta Latina Cultural Celebration

Join as the Cool Spring Downtown District, in partnership with the Arts Council of Fayetteville-Cumberland County presents The Fiesta Latina, a cultural celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month! This event will launch the 46th Annual International Folk Festival on Friday, September 27th | 6pm-10pm in Downtown Fayetteville. Fiesta Latina will feature live performances, including DK SIIX and The Paco Band, a Nuevo Flamenco group known for original compositions and Latin covers. Flamenco dancers will also entertain throughout the night.

The event includes three art exhibitions celebrating Hispanic culture. “Obras de la Vida” at the Arts Council’s gallery will showcase Hispanic artists’ portraits. “Esqueletos Creativos,” hosted by Cool Spring Downtown District, will display Dia de Muertos-themed skeletons in the alley at 222 Hay Street. Lastly, artist Maura Trice will unveil her “50 Years of Color” mural in honor of the Arts Council’s 50th anniversary, starting at 6 PM in the Maxwell Street parking lot.

This event will be going on during 4th Friday! Downtown Fayetteville will be buzzing with 50+ vendors, artists, food trucks, and performers.
