Attention Aberdeen residents and stakeholders! An Aberdeen Town Hall Meeting will take place on Monday, January 22nd at 6:00pm. Please join to help build the park! Skaters for Moore will be at the Aberdeen Town Hall Public Meeting making a push to secure Aberdeen’s support for the Memorial Park Skatepark project. Any resident, business owner, or other stakeholder may speak at this meeting to voice support for the request to provide $50,000 in funding to the Memorial Park Skatepark Project, due to break ground late Summer of 2024, as joint effort by Skaters For Moore, Friends of the Skateparks Foundation and the Town of Southern Pines. Please plan to be there early to sign-up to speak before the meeting starts. Please show up early, wear Skaters for Moore apparel, sign up to have your voice heard and prepare up to a 3-minute plea to have them consider this request.
