Join as the Arts Council of Moore County & Bradshaw Performing Arts Center present Heart ‘n Soul of Jazz 2024! Heart ‘n Soul of Jazz is a fundraiser for the Arts Council of Moore County.

The first concert is a free performance from the SCC Jazz Band under direction of Dr. Larry Arnold. The SCC Jazz Band is a traditional big band with 15+ volunteer musicians from Moore County and beyond. Since its beginnings, the group has had toes tapping and hands clapping. Enjoy Big Band swinging songs about love! This show takes place on Thursday, February 8th at 6:30pm. Doors open at 6:00pm.

The second performance is from jazz vocalist, Jane Monheit with the Christian Tamburr Trio! Janes is a 2-time Grammy-nominated jazz vocalist with a deep passion for the Great American Songbook. With many highly acclaimed solo albums, countless awards and accolades, and over two decades of international touring experience, she has not only been an extremely successful bandleader, but has had the privilege of making music with some of the greatest musicians, arrangers, and producers in jazz. This show takes place on Friday, February 9th at 7:30pm. Doors open at 7:00pm. Ticket costs for this performance range $29-$59.
