Arts Council of Moore County: “Healing Through the Arts: The Reason We Serve” Art Show

FREEThe Arts Council of Moore County presents the “Healing Through the Arts: The Reason We Serve” Art Show. This is a story-driven art exhibit featuring unique life experiences of military veterans & spouses. The artists in the show will include Ashleigh & Carlin Corsino (poetry, pastel), Richard Davenport (painter), Corrie Dodds (fiber art), Enrique Herrera (photography), Kenny Lewis (sculpture), Jason & Michelle Howk (painter/3D, writer, musician), Linda Nunez (painter), Franklin Oldham (photographer), Amy Parks (jeweler), Roger Price (painter), Douglas & Maria Rowe (painters), & Rollie Sampson (printmaking).
The Opening Reception takes place on Friday, November 1st | 6pm-8pm. There will be a special performance at 6pm by Over, Never Out, featuring Tony Barnes and Rob Dufresne. Reception beverages courtesy of James Creek Cider House, Sonoma County Life Opens Up, and Southern Pines Brewing Company.
The art will be on exhibition at the Arts Council Campbell House Galleries in Southern Pines Friday, November 1st-Wednesday, December 18th. The exhibit is free and open to the public.
Gallery hours are weekdays 10am-5pm. The gallery will be open Saturday, November 16th | 2pm-4pm. You may also visit by appointment by calling the Arts Council at 910-692-2787.
