Join as Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Southern Pines presents the Bach Lunch Recital Series. On Friday, April 4th | 3pm-4pm, enjoy the Emmanuel Choir performing Saint Mark Passion by Charles Wood as a special Lenten musical devotion. Revered as one of the finest compositions in the Passiontide genre, the “Saint Mark Passion” begins with the plainsong hymn, “Sing, My Tongue, the Glorious Battle” and ends with the last verse of the same hymn. In between, soloists and the Emmanuel Choir will sing the Gospel narrative. Attendees are welcome to bring a bag lunch.
