Suuví, the featured cellist, has been playing since childhood, her Cuban-Chinese roots shaping her artistry in unexpected ways. The Carolina Philharmonic’s maestro, David Michael Wolff, will guide the orchestra through a program that blends Copland’s Appalachian Spring with contemporary innovation.
