Come out for the Ole Gilliam Mill Park “Crank Up” event on Saturday, May 18th and Sunday, May 19th! The old engines (steam and hit & miss) will be started up and the old sawmill will be running, grist mill, shingle & tobacco stick cutters. There will be several demos throughout the weekend including blacksmith, weaving, clothes washing. Enjoy browsing many vendors, historical exhibits, antique tractors, tractor rides, music, food, activities for the children and more! Enjoy time at the longest covered bridge in North Carolina!

Reminder: Entry fee is $5.00 cash for everyone over 12, under 12 may enter for free. Some vendors take credit cards, but for cornmeal, grits or ice cream you will need cash.
