Lace up your favorite sneakers and join for the 2023 Disco Sneakers Benefit on Friday, November 3rd | 6:00pm-10:00pm at The Fair Barn in Pinehurst! This event will support the opening of Rachel’s Refuge, a residential care facility for human trafficking survivors. The evening will include a Keynote Speaker, dinner & dessert, music & entertainment, DJ & dancing and you may BYOB. Take part in live and silent auctions. The evening’s Keynote Speaker is Kiricka Yarbough Smith. Kiricka is the Consultant and Trainer for Office of Trafficking in Person. Kiricka Yarbough Smith is a premier advocate and leader of anti-human trafficking efforts in North Carolina. Her wealth of experience, influence and connections have been instrumental in improving advocacy and restoration services for survivors. Master of Ceremonies, Scott Grote, will be performing live music as well as the acting auctioneer. Nightly entertainment will include live music from Sam Thompson, Joe Keen and Ken Squires. Guests will also enjoy a special performance from The Carolina Philharmonic Junior Orchestra. A special guest of the evening will be Lara Beth Jones, Ms. North Carolina 2022. Tickets are $100.
