Come and join in the festivities with Santa and Mayor Rebecca Wyhof Salmon for the annual Sunday with Santa Train & Tree Lighting on Sunday, November 26th | 3pmsanford-6pm! The fun takes place at Depot Park where you can meet Santa, have holiday treats provided by Family Grounds, Millie’s Mama Bakes-Official and Sandra’s Bakery, enjoy holiday performances on the Depot Stage, partake in crafts with Lee County Libraries NC, write a letter to Santa with the help of Elves, interact with adorable animals at The Pint Sized Pasture petting zoo, meet princesses from the Wishes Character Company NC and even say hello to the Grinch! There will also be a train ride, opportunities to take photos inside a snow globe, a thrilling inflatable holiday slide and a special countdown at 6pm with the Mayor and Santa as they illuminate the park. This is a free, family-friendly event open to the public.
