Family Estrangement Support Group
Aging Outreach Services and Southern Pines Public Library announce the establishment of a Family Estrangement Support Group. Meetings take place every other Thursday from January 9th, 12pm-1pm and running through December 4th at the Southern Pines Public Library. The support group will focus on navigating the challenging journey of estrangement for parents and estranged adult children. Discussions will acknowledge the variety of issues and emotions an estranged person experiences and will provide resources and insights on how to come to terms with this personal journey. All information shared within a support group is confidential. The group is facilitated by Jennifer Tyner Tyner, a trained support group facilitator who has 21 years of experience supporting families as they navigate the challenges of aging.
If you are suffering in silence, this family estrangement support group will build a network of trusted friends who understand the challenges you face. For more information and a list of meeting dates, contact Jennifer Tyner at 910.692.0683 or JenniferT@AOSCareManagement.com.
