The community is invited as the Vietnam Veterans of America, Moore County Chapter 966 will hold their annual Field of Honor Opening Ceremony on Sunday, November 10th at 2:00pm at the West End Fire House on Rt 211/73 in West End. The Field of Honor Ceremony is for those veterans living and who have passed to include the service of our War Dogs. UPHS NROTC will provide the Honor Guard and there will be patriotic music and readings. The names on the flags will be read, a ships bell will ring at the reading of the names of the deceased veterans on the flags. All are welcome to attend this special ceremony. Please plan to arrive early and bring lawn chairs for your comfort.
