The community is invited to come together in support and help Fill the Boot for Chief Ricky Baker! Southern Pines Fire & Rescue is gathering donations for the Chief Ricky Baker Bucket Brigade Benefit that is taking place this Saturday, July 27th. Please submit all contributions to the Administrative Assistant at Station 81 by 12pm on Friday, July 26th. All funds collected will support Retired Fire Chief Ricky Baker and his wife, Teri, as they undergo cancer treatment. Chief Baker retired as Fire Chief of SPFD in 2008 after serving for 11 years.
