The community is invited to attend two free community programs, “Healthcare & Lifestyle Choices: Navigating Your Second 50,” on Tuesday, September 10th, and Tuesday, September 24th at 4:00pm in the fellowship hall of the Chapel in the Pines of West End. The program is sponsored by Aging Outreach Services, Fox Hollow Senior Living and Chapel in the Pines. These sessions will offer insights and resources for those planning their second 50 years, facing a healthcare crisis, or supporting aging family members. Hosted by experts Jennifer Tyner (Aging Life Care™ Professional, AOS Care Management), Robin Hutchings (Sales and Marketing Director, Fox Hollow Senior Living), and Ashley Culbreth (Registry Administrator, AOS At Home Care).

September 10th: Healthcare Choices- Older adults often face health changes with age, whether chronic conditions or unexpected diagnoses. Jennifer Tyner will discuss creating a customized plan with your medical provider, incorporating your finances and healthcare goals. Emily Tobias will explain essential legal and medical documentation for ensuring your wishes are honored. Robin Hutchings and Ashley Culbreth will explore evolving needs and preferences over time.

September 24th: Lifestyle Choices- Guest panelist Edward Hill will discuss navigating lifestyle choices from early retirement to end-of-life care. Hill will address aligning finances with lifestyle choices and common expenses during your second 50. Ashley Culbreth, Robin Hutchings, and Jennifer Tyner will offer advice on selecting in-home support or care communities. Tyner will also provide tips on discussing your lifestyle choices with family and professionals.
