The community is invited to come together on Gun Violence and Awareness Day on Saturday, June 8th beginning at 11am. Join to honor gun violence survivors at this free event taking place at the Southern Pines Pool Park. Survivors’ Remarks will be made by Mothers of Murdered Sons (M.O.M.S.). Special remarks will be made by Rev. Charles McKnight who is the Pastor of New Zion A.M.E. Zion Church in Addor. Attendees will also enjoy food, music and more.
