House in the Horseshoe: 243rd Anniversary Battle Reenactment

$5House in the Horseshoe will hold their 243rd Anniversary Battle Reenactment on Saturday, August 3rd | 10am-4pm. The event reenacts the Tory and Whig skirmish. The one-day event will highlight the struggles of the backcountry as the Revolutionary War engulfed North Carolina. The battle takes begins at 2pm. There will be special demonstrations, displays and activities throughout the afternoon. Tours of the Alston House will be. Moore County Genealogy will be represented.
This is a family-friendly event, and all ages are invited. The cost of parking is $5, cash only.

12:30pm-Presentation “Treating the Wounded” by Chris Grimes & Michael Williams
