Monthly Open House events are back at the Mill Prong House in Red Springs. Come and see the renovations of Mill Prong! The house will be open to the public for docent-led tours and there will be merchandise available for sale. Open House events take place the first Sunday of each month 2pm-4pm.

“Built in 1795 by Scottish immigrant, John Gilchrist, and renovated by Archibald McEachern in the 1840s, the home helps to commemorate the Highland Scots immigrant community that settled the Sandhills of North Carolina beginning in the mid-18th Century.”
