Moore County Driving Club: Safari Drive
November 30 @ 10:00 am
$20The Moore County Driving Club presents the annual Safari Drive on Saturday, November 30th! This Annual fun filled day is a spectacular club activity. There will also be a Big Sky Golf Cart Division. There will be coffee and donuts upon arrival to the Safari and chili for those after the drive. Enjoy this self-guided safari drive through numbered gates, uncovering hidden mysteries and searching for stuffed animals in proper order, much like a hidden object game. Wind through pine canopies, wooded trails, and scenic paths to spot animals in surprising locations. The goal is to find as many animals as possible in order and in the best time.
This journey features whimsical surprises like a bear on a rocking chair, Bigfoot behind the trees, and exotic creatures amidst the landscape. From butterflies to a sleepy caterpillar, the adventure is filled with fun and laughter. Start your journey at “Base Camp,” where you’ll receive a label sheet listing various animals. As you find each one, place its label on a provided sheet in discovery order. Submit your sheet at the end, though not every animal may appear.
Perfect for all ages and driving levels, this safari is photo-friendly, allowing you to capture the fun along the way. Dressing in safari attire is encouraged for added flair! A separate Golf Cart Division will also be available for added fun. The cost is $20 per entry. Please register with Keady Cadwell by emailing hikeady@yahoo.com.
