Notice is hereby given that the Moore County Board of Commissioners will convene for a Special Meeting on Thursday, February 15th at 5:30pm in the auditorium at North Moore High School. Doors will open at 5:00pm. The purpose of the meeting is to hold a public forum regarding an update of the Moore County Land Use Plan.

The Board specifically seeks citizen input regarding: Preservation and protection of the ambiance and heritage of Moore County | Enhancement of the union of the built and natural environments to improve citizen health through the use of open space and recreational opportunities | Optimization of the use of land within Moore County | Accommodation for a variety of housing types
