“This event is held in memory of Dr. David Bruton, who we lost last year. He was the driving force behind the founding of the Clinic. He served as our medical director for years, as well as a board member. His passion for helping others still inspires our mission to improve the health of the whole community, regardless of insurance or income. To carry on his legacy, all proceeds of this event will go toward two special projects established in Dr. Bruton’s memory. Half will support the new Dr. David Bruton Benevolent Care Fund for patients with emergency financial burdens. The other half will be applied to the Dr. H. David Bruton Samaritan Endowment Fund, established by board member Jim Connell and his wife Mary to support the work of the Clinic now and for the next 20 years!”
