James Creek Cider House: Orchard Wassail
January 18 @ 4:30 pm
$20“Apple tree, apple tree, we all come to wassail thee!” Wassail is a traditional twelfth night celebration.
James Creek Cider House in Cameron invites the community to participate in their annual Orchard Wassail event on Saturday, January 18th at 4:30pm! Join the owners in wassailing the pear and apple trees in hopes that they will thrive for the season and bear flavorful fruits for all our favorite ciders. Parade to the orchard by the Princesses Pomona to “toast” the trees, ward off evil spirits and bless the coming harvest. Enjoy mulled cider, a bonfire, tours of the orchard and cider production area and good fellowship.
Please arrive no later than 4:15pm. Tickets are $20 and include two glasses of the Wassail hard cider or warm mulled cider (substitutions also permitted), a tour of the orchard, bonfire and toast for the Wassailing. The cost is $5 for children with a non-alcoholic cider. Costumes encouraged. For full details and online ticket purchases, CLICK HERE.
