“Get Ready to Paint the Town in 2025 with the Painted Ponies Art Walk and Auction!” February 1st-April 1st!

This is the sixth annual Painted Ponies Art Walk and Auction! It is a favorite artistic, cultural event in our area and has become a “Must See” for people throughout the region. There are 16 Painted Ponies in 2025. The Painted Ponies are displayed along Broad Street and one at Red’s Corner. The painted ponies will be on display from February 1st-April 1st. Walking the walk is free and a great way to enjoy Southern Pines with family and friends. Complimentary maps are available at the Southern Pines Visitors Center in the Train Station. Take a photo with your favorite pony and use hashtag #CHPaintedPonies so we can share your pics on our social media. Thank you for supporting the Painted Ponies Art Walk and the incredible work the artists have put in over the last several months.

The live online auction takes place on Saturday, April 5th. The auction benefits the Carolina Horse Park Foundation. The Auction is one of the top fundraisers for the Carolina Horse Park, which is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. Funds raised through the Painted Ponies Auction help maintain the Park at the top level; keep the riders and horses safe; and provide open space for equestrian and recreational activities.
