Take part in the Empty Bowls 2025 Fundraiser! This event benefits the Sandhills/Moore Coalition for Human Care. The painting of the soup bowls has started at the 9th of September! Your painted bowl will be donated to Sandhills/Moore Coalition for Human Care. Paint a Bowl and Fill a Bowl! The cost is $18. Empty Bowls is a grass roots movement to help raise hunger awareness started in 1990 by the Imagine/RENDER group. The event takes place in March and features a simple meal of soup from local restaurants and commemorative bowls created by 9th of September. This helps attendees remember the empty bowls of those who go hungry each day. Sponsorships are available.
