Presented by the Pinehurst, Southern Pines, Aberdeen Area CVB! Pinecone Pathways returns to welcome spring! From March 20th–April 22nd (or until all are found), 100 colorful, hand-blown glass pinecones are hidden on Moore County trails. These unique pinecones are handcrafted by Starworks, a local nonprofit supporting arts, education, and economic development. They have created these pieces exclusive to this program and the pinecones are not available for purchase.

Each week, new trail locations will be announced on social media. Each pinecone is tagged with a unique number and QR code. Find one? Register it online for a chance to win a grand prize, including:

An overnight stay at Hilton Garden Inn
$50 at Pinehurst Brewing Company
$100 at River Jack Outdoor Trading
A tour and tasting at BHAWK Distillery
Participants must be 21+ and can register only once. If you find multiple pinecones, keep just one and leave the rest for others!
