The community is invited to the fifth annual Pinehurst Barbecue Festival with Tarheel Festivals, LLC! The festival takes place over Labor Day Weekend in the Village of Pinehurst. Presented by US Foods, Carolina Co-Packing, Our State Magazine and Pinehurst Resort, this three-day festival, headlined by Prieto, offers a unique culinary experience of various barbecue meats, seafood and traditional sides. Award-winning Pitmasters from across North Carolina come together to offer a “Celebration of Taste and Tradition.”

Christopher Prieto Pitmaster Invitational takes place in the Village of Pinehurst | 12:00pm-5:00pm. Early Admission is at 11:00am, and a ticket is required. General Admission is at 12:00pm. Join for this premier event of the Pinehurst Barbecue Festival featuring North Carolina’s finest barbecue Pitmasters. Each ticket includes one protein and one side sample from each pitmaster. The day also includes BBQ sauce and rub samplings from vendors across the state, Got To Be NC vendors, North Carolina craft beer, wine, selected spirits by award-winning and live entertainment.
