“What if for one day everything stopped, and we all just listened to the music?” Join in for the 2023 Worldwide Play Music on the Porch Day on Saturday, August 26th! The theme for this year’s event is “Reach Beyond.” All musicians are asked to branch out from their normal circles. This will bring together musicians from different cultures, religions, political beliefs and ethnicity. Create connections outside your usual communities. This worldwide event is open to everyone and all instruments, no matter your skill level. No porch is actually necessary. Gather to play music. That could be on the porches, in the yards or in a public space. Come together and celebrate music!
