Join as Sandhills Repertory Theatre and Michael Pizzi presents “Taylor and King”! Listen to the incomparable folk music of James Taylor and Carole King brought to life from some of the finest Broadway and off-Broadway talent! In case you are wondering, Carole and James will not be appearing but hear the iconic songs and stories of two of the world’s most accomplished and beloved musicians in the world! Songs include Carolina in my Mind, You’ve Got a Friend, Fire and Rain, Beautiful, Up on The Roof, Natural Woman, Where You Lead and so many more!

Carole also wrote a great number of songs that made others famous as well which will be presented by the Broadway, cabaret and regional performers:

-John Fischer, music director and vocalist, who is a well-known musician in NYC and was music director for SRT’s “Operatic Broadway”

-Kelli Rabke, Broadway and cabaret artist, who was hand picked as the Narrator by Andrew Lloyd Webber for the revival of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamboat”

-Elizabeth Nestlerode, who just finished a production as Carole King in the Tony-winning bio-musical “Beautiful” and who you saw in SRT’s “Judy, Joni and Joan” concert.

-and Michael Pizzi, who loves creating and producing works for Moore County and the Sunrise!

Performances take place Saturday, November 2nd at 3pm & 7pm and Sunday, November 3rd at 2pm.
