Sandhills Community College presents their “College for Kids” Summer offerings 2025!

“Learn to Make T-Shirt Quilt” (Ages 10-14) August 4th-August 8th | 9am-12pm

If you have T-shirts you love but no longer wear, a T-shirt quilt is the perfect thing to learn to make. Learn the steps to make a memory quilt for yourself or as a gift. Sewing or quilting experience is not required. Campers will need to bring several clean T-shirts and a working sewing machine. After designing and creating the quilt top, campers will apply backing and batting, encase, and tie to finish the quilt. Campers will need to bring several clean T-shirts, backing material (will be discussed at 1st day of camp) and a working sewing machine.
