This year the Senior Enrichment Center is proud to announce the opportunity to participate in a day trip to Pembroke, NC on November 22nd | 8am-6pm. Enjoy a Native American cultural presentation at the Lumbee Tribal Offices, lunch at Fuller’s Old Fashioned Barbecue (a country style buffet) and a tour of the Museum of the
Southeast American Indian which is located on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. This trip will allow participants to learn about Native American culture deep in the heart of Lumbee tribal territory, observe tribal customs, participate in making Native American crafts and enjoy a taste of one of the most well-known Lumbee-owned restaurants in our area. The cost is $40 with lunch included. Registration is required and limited to 50 guests. Participants must be members of the Senior Enrichment Center.
