Children ages 5-14 are invited to join Aberdeen Parks & Recreation Department for the Slithering Snakes program on Saturday, April 20th | 10am-12pm! Did you know there are over 3,000 snake species in the world? How many of those live in North Carolina and how many are venomous? Snakes are commonly feared but play a huge role in the ecosystem. During this program the group will explore the various snake species, their habitats, their venom and more! Meet at the Aberdeen Recreation Center.
