On June 24th, the community is invited to stand up to the darkness of Alzheimer’s The Racquet Club at Seven Lakes! Join their team for The Longest Day which is the day the Alzheimer’s Association calls on everyone to fight Alzheimer’s disease. Pickleball and/or tennis will be played from 8:00am-8:00pm. Take part in the 5K Walk/Run or the Corn Hole Tournament. You do not have to be competing to support the team. Spectators are invited and it is a family-friendly day. You may come bid on silent auction items or donate to The Alzheimer’s Association. There will be live music provided, a kid’s zone, Meat the Greek food truck will be on site, brews from Southern Pines Brewery and more. A fireworks show will end the evening. Together, we will raise funds and awareness for Alzheimer’s care, support, and research.
