The Sandhills Natural History Society will hold their monthly meeting on Monday, February 26th at Weymouth Woods-Sandhills Nature Preserve. Jesse Wimberley will present “How the Natural History of the Sandhills Created the Cultural History of our Region.” A Sandhills native, Jesse is the Coordinator for the Sandhills Prescribed Burn Association (SPBA), a highly successful organization helping private landowners manage their properties with controlled burns. Social time begins at 7:00pm with the meeting beginning at 7:30pm.
