Yearly, young golfers ages 5-12 are given the chance to showcase their skills at the U.S. Kids Golf World Championship! Ten championship courses located within the Pinehurst area unite to form the World’s grandest junior golf tournament, offering up a platform for the game’s expected future champions to display their talents. The tournament highlights include such events as the Parent/Child Tournament, Parade of Nations, Trackman Demo Days, three rounds of championship play and a Closing Ceremony. Once the three-day competition concludes, the Van Horn Cup comes into play. This is a contest designed for the top twelve-year-old boys and girls, featuring a best ball tournament and takes place on Pinehurst No. 4.
