The community is invited to attend the 2024 Moore County Writers’ Competition Awards Reception for grades 1-12! The reception takes place on Sunday, April 21st beginning at 2:00pm. Sponsored by The Donald & Elizabeth Cooke Foundation.

“Since 1986, Weymouth has hosted the Annual Moore County Writers’ Competition. Supported by the Donald and Elizabeth Cooke Foundation, the competition seeks to promote writing throughout Moore County and honor the work that goes into creating superior writing.”
