Join Friends of Weymouth Woods at Weymouth Woods Sandhills Nature preserve for an introduction to Map and Compass Skills on Sunday, September 1st at 2:00pm. There will be a short introduction followed by a 0.5-mile off trail hike on a ranger guided compass course using your new skills! Wear pants and close toed shoes to protect yourself from poison oak. You are welcome to bring your own compass, but there will be some to use. Designed for ages 12 and up.
