To participate as a performer\, singer registration is required for a $25 fee per song on a first-come\, first-served basis\, with limited spaces available for the evening. While every person in the building can cast one vote for the winner for free with no purchase necessary\, additional votes can be purchased for $10 each or an arm’s length of tickets for $50. The winner will earn ultimate bragging rights and the chance to perform an encore for the crowd. All proceeds from this event go toward keeping tuition affordable and accessible\, paying guest artists\, and offsetting essential rehearsal costs\, so come out to sing or support a great cause.

A devoted husband\, father\, grandfather\, and pediatrician\, Joey spent his life caring for others—serving children and families across North Carolina with compassion\, humility\, and unwavering dedication. In 1986\, he became the first Lumbee pediatrician and the first American Indian pediatrician in North Carolina\, leaving a lasting legacy in medicine and in his community. \nThis walk is both a tribute and a call to action. Funds raised will support ALS United North Carolina’s care services\, equipment loan program\, research\, and advocacy efforts\, ensuring that individuals and families facing ALS in our state have access to the care\, resources\, and support they need. \nDr. Bell was a trailblazer—the first Lumbee pediatrician and the first American Indian pediatrician in North Carolina. Let’s come together to celebrate his legacy and show our support. Kids are also welcome\, if you did not register please feel free to come out and celebrate.\n– Location: Grace P.
