Kathy Downs discovered her passion for glass art in 2011 when she and her family moved to the Quantico\, VA area. Initially her small glass pieces were unique gifts for family and friends but as her collection and skills grew\, she started selling her glass to fund her “glass” habit! She now creates both large and small fused glass in her home-based studio and with 38 years of eduction experience\, she is excited to teach and mentor aspiring glass artists through her fused glass classes at ARTworks Vass! \nImportant Information: \n\nBeginners are welcome.\nSchool Aged Children\, who follow instructions well and can work and function relatively independently in the classroom and bathroom are welcome to attend.\nAdults are not permitted to register as a student in this class unless registering and attending with the child or children.  (Grab your favorite kiddo and join us!)\nFor the safety of all involved\, we require that Children be dropped-off and picked-up with their instructor in the classroom.
