These and so many others will be featured by NYC performers coming to Moore County in the new show “The Music of Judy\, Joni\, Joan\, James and Carole” (Collins\, Mitchell\, Baez\, Taylor and King)\, created and directed by the founder of Sandhills Repertory Theatre (SRT)\, Michael Pizzi. \n“I am thrilled that Elizabeth Nestlerode (SRT’s “Taylor King” and “Johnny and June”) and Jack Gerhard (NYC singer/songwriter and guitarist) will be joining me to present these giants of American music. Their voices and piano\, guitar and harmonic talents will sound like the originals\, and the audience will be excited about the diversity of songs we will offer”. \nJack Gerhard is a NYC based Actor/Musician whose voice has been heard leading the Broadway national touring company of “Once” and across many regional theaters around the country. Locally in NYC he performs with his band and all around with the folk group “A Band Called Honalee”. Jack has released two albums and is currently working on his 3rd. His music has been featured in segments on Television\, particularly his song “Cortland” which was voted to be the official song of the city of Cortland\, NY in 2025. He loves this music and hopes you enjoy the show! \nElizabeth Nestlerode is an actor\, musician\, and teaching artist based in NYC. Off-Broadway/New York: The Other Josh Cohen (Diane Cohen)\, Gypsy (Louise). Regional: Carole King in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical at Capital Repertory Theatre\, Ebenezer Scrooge’s BIG San Diego Christmas Show (Ghost of Christmas Present & others) at the Old Globe\, 5 productions of Once (Girl) including Casa Manaña\, Cape Playhouse\, and Actors’ Playhouse; 3 productions of Ring of Fire (June Carter Cash)\, Violet (Violet) …Spelling Bee (Olive)\, Buddy Holly (Vi – director Hunter Foster) 54 Forever (director Tommy Tune)\, Cabaret (Sally Bowles)\, It’s A Wonderful Life (Evelyn / Mary Bailey).
