The hot summer months of July and August are the perfect time to gather at ARTworks Vass for a hands-on\, creative wet felting experience. Join us for this special two-part wet felting series designed to introduce you to the relaxing and magical process of transforming soft wool into beautiful sculptural creations. \nThis registration includes BOTH classes in the series\, as well as your own personalized wet felting kit to keep! Your kit will include the essential tools needed for wet felting so you can continue creating projects long after class ends. \nWe’ll begin on Wednesday\, July 1st from 4:00 to 7:00 by creating three beautiful stemmed wet felted flowers while learning the foundational skills of wet felting. This beginner-friendly class is the perfect introduction to layering\, shaping\, and forming wool fibers. During this class\, we’ll also discuss the different types of handles and finishing options available for your August project so your chosen handles can be ready for you at the second session. \nThen\, on Wednesday\, August 5th from 4 PM to 7 PM\, we’ll build on those skills as we create larger wet felted balloon vessels. You will have several options for your final project including creating a felted bag\, flower pot cover\, or decorative vessel. \nWet felting is VERY different from needle felting\, so come prepared to get wet and soapy!
