From bold and whimsical to refined and expressive\, this year’s collection features painted colts and horses brought to life by an incredible lineup of artists and sponsors. Stroll the Art Walk\, meet the stories behind the pieces\, and get ready to bid on your favorites when they head to auction in April! Uniquely designed pony sculptures created by local artists will be displayed along Broad Street and at Red’s Corner. This event celebrates local creativity and community spirit\, offering a free and family-friendly way to explore the area. \nVisitors can pick up complimentary maps at the Southern Pines Visitors Center located in the Train Station to help guide their walk. This seasonal tradition is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the outdoors with friends and family while supporting the incredible work of area artists and businesses. \nThe live online auction takes place on Saturday\, April 19th. The auction benefits the Carolina Horse Park Foundation. The Auction is one of the top fundraisers for the Carolina Horse Park\, which is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. Funds raised through the Painted Ponies Auction help maintain the Park at the top level; keep the riders and horses safe; and provide open space for equestrian and recreational activities.
