DESCRIPTION:Come out for the 28th annual N.C. Peach Festival of Candor! This year’s festival is presented by Mountaire Farms. The three-day festival takes place Thursday\, July 165th-Saturday\, July 18th with much fun in Fitzgerald Park. \nThe festivities begin Thursday with the Peachy Pit Stop Cruise-In and a Flamin’ Hot Wing Competition from 4:00PM-9:00PM. \nCome out for the Friday night Concert in the Park featuring food\, vendors\, and live music from 4:00PM-9:00PM. \nSaturday is the main festival day\, starting with a peach cooking contest at 8:00AM and the parade on Main Street at 10:00AM\, leading into an afternoon of activities\, local vendors\, and homemade peach ice cream until 4:00PM. Most events take place near Fitzgerald Park and the Candor Town Hall\, where official festival merchandise will be available for purchase. \nThe N.C.
