Funds raised will support ALS United North Carolina’s care services\, equipment loan program\, research\, and advocacy efforts\, ensuring that individuals and families facing ALS in our state have access to the care\, resources\, and support they need. \nDr. Bell was a trailblazer—the first Lumbee pediatrician and the first American Indian pediatrician in North Carolina. DESCRIPTION:Join as the Sanford Area Society of Shaggers is hosting the 35th Annual Shaggin’ in the Sandhills on Saturday\, March 28th\, at the Dennis A. Wicker Civic Center in Sanford. Enjoy live music from The Sand Band with a special appearance by Terri Gore\, along with heavy hors d’oeuvres\, a silent auction\, and a 50/50 raffle. Proceeds from the evening will benefit Make-A-Wish of Eastern North Carolina and various Lee County charities. \nThe doors open at 6:30PM\, with the band performing from 7:00PM-11:00PM.
