DESCRIPTION:Celebrate three full days of family-friendly tradition at the 71st Annual Robbins Farmers Day\, taking place Thursday\, July 30th-Saturday\, August 1st! Organized by Robbins Fire Rescue and the Robbins Farmers Day Committee\, the beloved festival features carnival rides\, interactive demonstrations\, merchandise and craft vendors\, delicious food\, live music\, and endless entertainment across multiple stages! \n\n\n\nThe festivities kick off Thursday\, July 30th\, with registration for the Farmers Day 5K Run/Walk starting at 6:00PM (race at 7:00PM starting on Branson Circle) alongside Gospel on the Depot Stage featuring the River Ridge Bluegrass Band from 6:30PM-9:00PM. Friday\, July 31st\, brings carnival rides and live musical performances by Tracy Bates and the Circuit Riders\, Dirty Grass Soul\, Grupo SDO\, and Joe Frye & Low Down Dirty Heathens starting at 6:00PM\, capped off by mid-town fireworks at 10:15PM. \n\n\n\nSaturday\, August 1st\, runs from 9:00AM to midnight and features the iconic Robbins Farmers Day Parade on Middleton Street at 11:00AM\, continuing a tradition that dates back to 1955 under Wagon Master Robert Hussey. Organizers are collecting items of value—including pottery\, jewelry\, silver\, art\, dolls\, antiques\, collectible toys\, prints\, books\, china\, memorabilia\, linens\, and vintage clothing—with 100% of the proceeds going directly to preserving local history.  \n\n\n\nGently used items can be dropped off at the Shaw House\, located at 110 West Morganton Road in Southern Pines\, Monday through Friday from 1:00PM-4:00PM until the final deadline on September 1st\, 2026\, or community members can call 910-692-2051 to arrange a convenient pick-up.  \n\n\n\nAll of these collected treasures will be featured in the annual tag sale scheduled for Friday\, September 11th\, from 9:00AM-1:00PM\, and Saturday\, September 12th\, from 9:00AM-4:00PM\, with donation tax receipts available upon request. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFacebook
