DESCRIPTION:Enjoy the All Aboard the Hamlet Depot and Museums Polar Express Movie Experience immediately following the 39th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting in Main Street Park on the evening of Monday\, December 1st. This free magical movie experience will take place in the Hamlet Historic Depot. Outside the Depot\, hot cocoa and cookies will be provided complimentary of Hamlet Fire Rescue and EMS\, and there will be a snow making machine. Official Polar Express Movie Tickets will be given out and punched by Conductor Sam to watch the movie in the Depot Passenger Waiting Area. \nSanta and Mrs. Claus will be visiting directly from the North Pole to listen to children’s Christmas lists in the Depot’s beautifully decorated back gallery room. Children may also bring or write Letters to Santa to mail in the special Santa Certified Christmas Mail Box. Blank letters are available at the Hamlet Visitors Center and during the event.
